Competing in an over-saturated market with a product that doesn't do what they claim.
Pros
Good pay and benefits. Office culture started off good, but quickly changed after a few months. Also in a good location with free parking. Start up environment with corporate backing. A lot of vacation days to start off with.
Cons
Company was unclear on the direction that it wanted to go. Seems that they hired a sales team just to scrape there books to gather potential opportunities, then get rid of the sales team after 6 months. Seems to be the model that this company follows. Claims to be a transparent organization but gave no heads up until the day they let everyone go from the revenue team. Does not appreciate hard work, and it is a revolving door for sales people. Commission was never correct when it came time to get paid which was always a hassle. Upper management and marketing are ineffective in spreading brand awareness and differentiating themselves in the market place which makes the product almost impossible to market and sale.
