Poor pay, passive aggression, lack of care for employers, terrible onboarding (especially for a first job) The lifestyle team tends to have a better experience at the company and generally has better people leading the teams. The beauty teams are hit or miss, if you have a good mentor guiding you, the experience will be better. There are definitely some mean girl higher ups in this company and if they decide they do not like you (for whatever reason), you will be let go regardless of your work performance. Their approach to onboarding is to push you off the deep end and see if you sink or swim. Prepare to have thick skin because they warn you that 'you will cry in your first 3 months' and for some reason they think that's normal for a work place. I've heard it's mellowed out since the pandemic with work from home but I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know. Also I failed to mention there is NO diversity - at all. The few people of color I have known to work here have left because they felt uncomfortable.

It seemed fun at first. Ended up working well into the night and on weekends because my daddy wasn’t someone important. You’re basically forced to remind management that you think they are cool and pretty. They play favorites unlike anything I have ever seen... basically you need to play a part. Be a show pony. Drink the kool-aid and forget who you were before you arrived which was someone with a soul. You’ll constantly be moved around to different teams and management has no clue what kind of workload you’re dealing with. They make rash decisions about employees and will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat regardless of whether you think you’re “in” or not.
