Great platform for career growth in electronic component distribution.

Pros

Fast-paced environment with a global customer base. The company has a strong supply chain network, enabling quick sourcing of hard-to-find electronic components and ICs. Excellent training system for newcomers to understand international trade compliance, market trends, and procurement strategies. Compensation and incentives are competitive and performance driven.

Cons

High-pressure sales environment due to the volatile chip market. The workload can be heavy during electronic component shortage cycles, which sometimes makes maintaining a perfect work-life balance quite challenging.

Pros

The one pro about working at 4STAR was that it was a very fast paced environment with adepquate software to enter orders. The day went by fast and all you literally had to do was pick up the phone when it rang, quote and take an order. Then there was someone to do everything else. Which brings me to the cons...

Cons

Where do I begin with the cons? There were so many. To start with there was absolutely no consistency with what was said and what was done with this company. Employees were constantly berrated and spoken down to. Like it was a gift to work there. They are extremely management top heavy with significant salaries with none of these personnel doing any actually selling or real work for that matter, so if you are interested in a sales job, those profits are mostly going to them and not in your commission. There are people doing other people's jobs and managers managing management. The micromanaging is excruciatingly painful. There is a reason they are constantly recruiting. Oh and they pride themselves on being 420 friendly, so if that's your bag then maybe this is the place for you.
