Job Descriptions:

• Port the standard H.265 algorithm to an embedded platform.
• Modify the algorithm to optimize compression efficiency while reducing hardware complexity.
• Help the hardware team to identify performance bottleneck and define hardware accelerator.
• Build a C model for hardware verification.
• Develop a video quality benchmark software.
• Profile the encode/decode workload with different test data.

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Ph.D. or MS degree preferred) or equivalent years of experience.
• Good knowledge of video compression concepts and standards, including H.264 and HEVC.
• Proficiency in C/C++, strong software development, optimization, and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in assembly language for performance optimization.
• Proactive and self-motivated with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with FFmpeg, x264, x265 is a plus.
• Knowledge in Linux Makefile editing is a plus.
• Candidates with less experience may also be considered.
