Key Responsibilities:
Host financial programs and news bulletins for Hong Kong television, meeting TVB’s big-screen broadcast standards and aligning with the viewing preferences of Hong Kong–style financial shows.
Participate in pre-production planning, script polishing, and ad-lib copywriting; collaborate with directors on content development. Quickly grasp program briefs and deliver market analysis and key information off-script.
Conduct guest interview sessions with precise control over pacing and questioning logic to elicit high-value insights. Manage the set flexibly, resolve unexpected issues during recording, and ensure smooth production and broadcast.
Perform on-camera and voice-over work for TVB financial/investment TV commercials, embodying the brand’s image with professionalism and trustworthiness while matching the commercial’s creative tone.
Provide voice-overs and on-screen interpretations for branded short videos and promotional materials, supporting both online and offline communications across diverse scenarios.
Qualifications: Education & Appearance: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Broadcasting & Hosting, Performing Arts, Journalism & Communication, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Presentable, poised, and camera-friendly, with a look suited to TVB’s big-screen aesthetics.
Professional Skills: Fluent in both Putonghua and Cantonese, with a valid professional hosting/presenting certificate. Strong on-camera delivery and stage management; familiarity with Hong Kong program presentation styles and TVB audience habits is a plus.
Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of Hong Kong and U.S. stock market basics, market trends, capital market hotspots, and fundamental investment concepts. Able to quickly interpret financial content, independently structure market narratives, and maintain a commitment to ongoing financial learning.
Experience: 1–3+ years of on-camera hosting experience in financial programs, TV shows, or converged media. Prior experience with television stations, big-screen productions, or commercial advertising is preferred.
Core Competencies: Excellent improvisational skills, stable on-set control, and strong teamwork capabilities. Proactive, highly cooperative, and adaptable to regular recording schedules as well as urgent production timelines.
