The incumbent is responsible for planning and managing human resources and people development initiatives to maintain an effective organizational structure and a workforce that is competent, motivated, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise a small team to provide overall planning and management of human resources services to Business Units, including business partnering, change management, employee engagement, manpower planning and management, performance management, project management, talent acquisition, talent review, and succession planning;
Act as a strategic HR business partner to business leaders and line managers by understanding business needs, providing professional HR advice, and aligning HR strategies and people solutions with business goals to support organizational effectiveness and business results;
Develop and implement HR initiatives and solutions that enhance employee experience, engagement, productivity, retention, and organizational culture;
Monitor market and workforce trends to identify opportunities and risks;
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including employee concerns, disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, and other sensitive people matters in line with company policies and employment legislation;
Drive process improvement and service excellence initiatives to simplify HR operations and improve efficiency;
Support organizational change and transformation initiatives in partnership with business leaders;
Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to support decision-making and recommend appropriate actions to management; and
Handle ad hoc assignments as assigned by Senior Management.
Requirements
Degree holder of Human Resources Management or related discipline
At least 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources. Relevant HRBP experience gained in sizable organizations is highly preferred
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to manage complex situations and recommend effective solutions
High integrity, ethical standards, and a strong compliance mindset
Well-versed in the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, and other related legislation
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Pleasant personality with strong communication and interpersonal
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare reports and presentations for management review
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
