Benefits Analyst – Employee Benefits
Pacific Prime is a global insurance broker established in Hong Kong in 2000. With 17 offices and over 1000 employees around the world, we deliver a wide range of insurance solutions, including group health insurance, employee benefits, property & casualty insurance advice and solutions to individuals, families, and businesses.
The Benefits Analyst will play a key role in supporting Pacific Prime's employee benefits advisory services. This individual will leverage data-driven insights to help clients optimize their benefits programs while ensuring full regulatory compliance in the Hong Kong market.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze claims data, benefits utilization, and cost metrics to identify gaps and emerging trends, translating analytical findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
Conduct benchmark studies on employee benefits plans to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness for clients.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., MPF regulations, insurance laws), and emerging benefits offerings in Hong Kong.
Assist in creating materials (e.g., presentations, proposals, and reports) to clients, providing clear and concise recommendations on benefits strategies.
Ensure all benefits programs comply with Hong Kong regulations, including Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) requirements and other relevant legislation.
Work closely with account managers, brokers, and other team members to support client retention and business development initiatives.
Contribute proactively to cross-functional projects and client initiatives, demonstrating adaptability and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or a related field. Experience in the Hong Kong market is highly preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and familiarity with benefits administration platforms.
Strong understanding of employee benefits products (e.g., group medical, life insurance, MPF) and Hong Kong’s regulatory environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
Proven ability to interpret complex benefits data and transform analytical findings into clear, client-focused insights and strategic recommendations.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional certifications or relevant insurance licenses are an advantage.
