The Division of Integrative Systems and Design runs a wide variety of teaching and research projects that are multi-disciplinary. These projects use a wide range of technology and tools, including mechanical design and machines, electronic systems design, materials and shape design and IT systems design. The Division is looking for a candidate who is interested in electronics systems, and is expected to (a) assist course instructors in running innovation project courses; (b) conduct course tutorials/workshops; and (c) organize and facilitate events/activities.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a relevant subject. Applicants should possess strong skills in one or more of the following areas: Embedded systems design, circuit design and PCB layout, digital and analog electronics, IoT systems, power electronics and motor control, wireless communication protocols, etc. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and is passionate about working with motivated and dynamic students. Teaching experience in a related field is desirable. Candidates with less work experience may be considered for appointment as an Instructional Assistant. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
