Summary of Responsibilities:
The Customer Funding Desk (CFD) group forms part of Global Transactional Banking (GTB) and is an integral part of BBVA’s global Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division, as it supports the liquidity needs of CIB through selling liquidity products to Corporate and Institutional clients. The CFD liquidity specialist will provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage to clients covered by BBVA’s Hong Kong branch, as well as helping other branches located in the Asian continent & Oceania when needed.
We are looking for a dynamic client-facing, globally minded professional who can work in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to provide world-class service to our existing and prospective clients covered by BBVA’s Hong Kong branch, while working with the local and global relationship management
teams. The candidate will also take responsibility for coordinating the client’s onboarding for liquidity products in Hong Kong. The CFD liquidity specialist will be located in Hong Kong’s Trading Floor.
List Major/Essential Job Duties:
Managing a target list of CIB clients covered by BBVA’s Hong Kong branch in coordination with the Global client managers to identify opportunities and offer all types of liquidity products, such as Time Deposits, Puttable Deposits, CDs, etc.
Engaging in sales efforts by providing necessary product support and enhance visibility of liquidity products across BBVA’s Hong Kong branch footprint as well as helping other branches located in the Asian continent & Oceania when needed.
Planning of marketing trips and representing the interests of the bank in liquidity products for the above mentioned geographical footprint.

Prepare daily liquidity proposals and pricing to clients
Preparing marketing material including product presentations
Leading the process of negotiating terms and conditions directly with clients
Skills, knowledge, abilities/Competencies:
An ideal candidate has at least 4-5 years of experience in a CIB client facing role in a large corporate/global multinational foreign bank, ideally in a Global Markets position.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field.
Fluent in English (both oral and written).
Knowledge and understanding of CIB liquidity products
Knowledge of Asian regulations impacting client deposits and other liquidity products for corporate clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience identifying and leveraging internal resources, building and working with cross-bank teams to deliver solutions to clients
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
Proven track record of managing multiple projects and transactions and executing the transactions in a bank that has a complex multi-country organization
Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint in order to deliver high-quality presentations to clients
