Interview
The interview process at XAI typically involves multiple rounds, including an initial recruiter screening, a technical assessment, and one or more interviews focusing on problem-solving, algorithms, system design, and behavioral questions to assess technical and cultural fit.
Interviewing at XAI was a rigorous yet insightful experience. The process included technical rounds focused on AI fundamentals, system design, and problem-solving. The interviewers were knowledgeable, fostering engaging discussions. Emphasis on real-world AI challenges made it intellectually stimulating
The mock assessment isn't that tough. I wasn't invited to the next round. It was about fitting tetris like blocks in n*m grid. Question is solvable and it would be easy for regular coders. Best of luck to the candidates interviewing.

Interview
An external recruiter emailed me to setup an interview with the Hiring Manager. Surprisingly, I never actually talked to the recruiter!
The Hiring Manager was nice, but I feel that we didn’t click. They were looking for a particular answer to their Systems Design question, but we had trouble communicating what type of answer he wanted. In the end, we got all the way down to the particular data structure actually used in a real piece of software, the answer which I managed to stumble upon. This was not exactly difficult, but it was incredibly frustrating, both for me and the Hiring Manager.
