I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at what3words (London, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Following a number of successful phone interviews, I was invited to do a presentation. I feel the brief was off here as I was informed that the content was less relevant than the delivery. Having presented to a number of people, and prepared to deliver this, I was told it was very solid
I ran through what in my mind was a very solid presentation on the day, and I was declined the position based on the fact that they would not deliver parts of the content, but that my delivery was excellent, and that I was both capable and personable.

What resources does what3words offer to car manufacturers with regards to voice recognition for their in car entertainment systems?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at what3words (London, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
The process was time intensive but felt well defined and appropriate to the job role. The company provided feedback afterward which was appreciated but the feedback they gave left me with the impression that they are more interested in winning the same kind of business they already have again and again rather than exploring new use cases and verticals. In retrospect it seems like the team I was presenting to at what3words did not understand the use case because they do not understand the vertical I chose. If you have a similar interview with them, keep it simple and present something they have seen 100 times. They are looking for cheerleaders to repeat company talking points not creative thinkers.
