This was the most strenuous and frustrating interview process I've ever experienced. The process dragged on through five steps, including an in-person design test at step four, only for the company to ghost and strong me along afterward. It took them nearly a month to follow up, and when they finally did, it was only to say they were still "busy interviewing other candidates." The employees I spoke with were nice, but you can tell from the way they ghost candidates and keep job postings up for months on end that they don't actually value your time. I already had second thoughts when I learned there would be a fifth round after the in-person design test, but after experiencing how they treat candidates, especially in such a competitive job market, I've lost all respect and interest in Tarte.
