I would argue this was the messiest and least respectful interview I ever had. To begin with, just to get a screening I had to send in not only my cv and a letter, but also a video portfolio and two 150 word texts. Moreover, the manager preferred (and I quote) “people with a following or influencers” for the role. During the interview the recruiter spoke very fast and felt like a telemarketer selling a scam product. When it came to the salary expectations, I quoted my rate and I was asked directly “is it negotiable to make it lower?” The way it was worded was extremely disrespectful. At the end of the interview the recruiter told me I would receive a positive or negative feedback the following week, which I never did. They ghosted me which is utterly disrespectful.
