The questions for the PM interview were quite basic since it was Junior Role. However they seemed like they didn't really know what they wanted. They even made me do a PRD assignment which I spent hours on. Felt like a waste of time honestly but it was a good assignment for my own personal practice. They were looking for someone to train however then they were testing my PM skills which didn't really make any sense at all to me. Overall the company seemed great but their hiring process is not normal and quite messy.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at rater8 in Nov 2025
Interview
They asked you to design and build a watered down version of their flagship app using Claude while asking textbook type dev questions that lasted about 2hrs. I was very impressed with how easy Claude built the app but I also didn't fully understand how they were gaging my skills with it. Seemed like anybody could have completed this assignment without dev knowledge so I'm not really sure what they were looking for especially for the high salary range they were offering. I did enjoy the conversation though and the team seemed very friendly. They respected your time by only having 1-2 interviews that weren't too long.

Interview
Pretty good experience.
Had 2 interviews. First one was a general background/resume overview.
2nd interview was a technical interview where they asked me to build a small website. They gave me about an hour and a half and had me download VS, Claude, dotnet etc beforehand to prepare. As I built the website with AI, they asked me technical/textbook style questions like "Why choose a hard delete vs a soft delete? And "Tell me the full story of what happens when a user hits enter on a URL to the site loading on their computer"
Would say it was a generally good experience, but a bit hard to balance their questions that were at times 2-5 minute answers while also building a website from scratch in a 2 hour interview (with 30 minutes for my questions).
