Basically there are 2 steps. The non-technical interview and the technical test. The interview lasted less than 15 minutes, where all the information about the position (except the salary) was given and I found it very pleasant. But the technical part that was the problem, i applied for a fullstack job where i was told my mongoDB and Angular skills would be tested, however on test day i was given a backend test with nestjs, rabbitMQ and etc. As a senior nodeJS developer I had no problems with javascript, however, I needed more time to read the documentation and understand this framework that I had not used. This preparation could have been avoided if they had said in advance what the test technologies would be. The test was performed on a Monday and could not be done over the weekend. Which was also more of a problem as I have a current job and had to divide my attention. In the end I delivered the test as close to the requirements as possible due to the time I had to develop. The result SHOULD have come out in 24 hours, but it took 1 week. I was told that I failed without even justifying why, since the test was carried out. Apparently I was judged technically deficient in a surprise technology test even though I had the ability to learn enough of the technology to make a reasonable implementation. At no time did anyone from the technical part talk to me. And to end my review, the email sent by them said that if the test wasn't good enough, they would give it a second chance. However, a week after the test, they already closed the selection process with me. Conclusion, every technical process was frustrating and totally troublesome. I'm currently fullstack at IBM and the difference in treatment these companies have with their professionals is discrepant.
