Interview
interviewer was very friendly
it was smooth process and questions are average. he explained every thing about company and he didn't rushed me. it was a nice experience and good chance to crack but i got offer they send the joining letter on may 2025 but my joining was jan 24th
Verbal Q&A with the supervisor
- I was interviewing for a front-end position, but the supervisor asked very few front-end questions, mainly about AI. Sometimes I guess he doesn't understand front-end at all.
- The supervisor may have high expectations for AI. When I told him that AI may not solve all the company's problems, his attitude changed
- I was also asked if I could write Java backend and use Figma, which made me wonder if I was interviewing for a front-end or a full-stack plus designer position?
- When he asked about expected salary, I proposed 31,300~33,700 USD/Year, which was obviously beyond their range. After hearing this number, the supervisor said he had something to do and had to leave quickly
- Finally, he said: He thinks technology is not important, solving problems is more important. I can agree that, but telling me that technology is not important in an engineer interview can't help but make me wonder that you are telling me Engineer's skills and positions are not important? No wonder they recruit front-end but ask about back-end and design capabilities, and in the end they are unwilling to pay even the basic salary of senior engineers.
