I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at me&u (Melbourne)
Interview
Initial and technical interviews were pretty standard with a simple code challenge and talk with the team.
Made it to the final interview with the CEO who asked invasive questions that I wonder about their legality under Australian workplace laws.
Questions included: what do you spend your money on; do you rent or own, why? Do you have a family?
She was unsure at the end and then suggested she would offer a contract but it would be unfare to my family. Pretty sure that's discriminatory and illegal.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at me&u (Sydney) in Feb 2021
Interview
Me&u is not professional in their interviews, they don't know what are are looking for and what is criteria. I will say this can reflect in their poor management. The interview it's just normal talking and very little assessment on your professional levels.
