Please read the other interviews on Glassdoor, mine was very much in line with the poor standard that’s been mentioned.
Standard Process.
Recruiter Screen, Hiring Manager Interview, VP Interview. They mentioned a take-home exam to follow.
Recruiter and Hiring Manager were great. Standard interview process that was well-formatted with traditional processes around STAR interview questions. Asking to know about a time when....Tell me about a situation where.....
VP interview was difficult. From the start they were disinterested and disrespectful. They asked broad open-ended questions and expected specific examples, was tough to actually get through that. They were overly interested in "start-up experience" and continued to refer to it, even if you've had similarly applicable experience. It was scheduled for 45min, but essentially checked out halfway through the interview and disengaged. There were a barrage of academic/technical questions instead of allowing me to explain the work I've done.
I went ahead and pulled my candidacy voluntarily given the other TAM interviews and company reviews of execs were negative. After experiencing it firsthand - I wouldn't want to work there.

Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at interface AI in Dec 2024
Interview
Communication with hiring manager was only over linkedIn messages. They rescheduled right before first interview, and rescheduled again about 20 minutes after the rescheduled interview meeting time saying to meet after the holidays. Monday morning (when we are scheduled to meet for the 3rd time) post-Christmas they said they changed individual requirements for the role , maybe they were working during the holidays to decide that ? Extremely non-professional process.

Question 1
What time are you available we'll work around your meeting time.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at interface AI in Feb 2024
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter. When asked to go over my experience at the different companies I worked at, I was immediately cut off and was informed to only discuss my experience in startups which caught me a bit off guard. I made it to the next round with the hiring manager which was cut short and only lasted for 15 minutes. The hiring manager explained that he had a work emergency to attend to but would follow up with the recruiter to make sure another interview was scheduled. During the time we did have, he seemed completely disinterested in hearing about my experience. The follow up call never happened, the recruiter never followed back up with me and 3 weeks later, I was rejected via email. Tread lightly if you apply for this role or a recruiter from their team reaches out to you via LinkedIn. Not respectful of a candidate’s experience or time.
