I first applied for an open position with this company on 8/29 and received a response from one of their recruiters on 8/31. I was asked to provide my availability through their web app, which I did that same day, followed by an email to the recruiter informing them that I had completed it. After no communication confirming my interview time, I reached back out on 9/6 to inquire as to what the status was. No response. At this point, I had given up and just assumed that I had been passed up. Which is fine, it happens. Then I receive an identical email to the last, again from the same recruiter as before, asking for my availability. No mention of apology for the lack of communication or the delay (or repeated ask), just "fill out this form again". Again, fine. This time, the recruiter actually got back to me confirming my interview date/time. Fast forward to a week later, day of the phone screen interview. Recruiter was 5 minutes late for our 30 minute interview, antagonistic in her tone while asking questions, and after about 10 minutes of me feeling like I was defending myself as to why I would even apply for this job and several interruptions due to the recruiter's bad internet connection, and before they could even tell me about the role, we were disconnected. The recruiter mentioned they were having internet issues, so I understand this kind of thing can happen. What followed, however, is where that understanding ends. I stayed in the zoom meeting for another 15 minutes, until the end of our scheduled time, however the recruiter never returned to the meeting. I reached out to them several times via email attempting to reconnect or possibly reschedule our chat. I received no contact from the recruiter. Even if her internet is completely down, my resume has my mobile number. I finally heard back from the recruiter days later via email, blaming me for dropping the call and saying "oh well, I'll pass your info along to the hiring manager". Again, no apology for leaving me hanging or following up. No attempt to give me fair consideration due to their technical difficulties. Sent linkedin inmail messages to iRhythm's head of HR and their CEO, which predictably were ignored, so clearly they are ok with the way things are being run. Avoid this company at all costs. If this is how their HR dept is run, I can't imagine the rest of the company is run any better.
