I was reached out to by a recruiter from the company to set up a phone interview. We scheduled a time to speak and I confirmed. Come the date and time and there is no call. I waited for 30 minutes. I followed up with a nice email but never got a response. Wasting my time and not being able to send a quick email before or after is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I ended up taking another job from a company who treated me with respect.

Pretty rigorous and lengthy interview for a short contract role- took over 5 weeks for a 4 months gig (?) with weeks of silence in between showing clearly they either didn’t know what they wanted or trying to do it without a PM. Interviewed with 4 different people, they were all lovely but only one managed to actually say what they needed, the rest was just vague (again a red flag) Oh and the worst- I got an offer and then they just ghosted me afterwards when I was asking for details, when to start etc. In my entire 20 year professional career this was the first. So they left a pretty bad taste in my mouth even if they work in marketing /comms but do not know how to communicate to talent.
