I had a negative experience during the interview process. Initially, the interview was scheduled and confirmed, but the HR representative didn’t show up and failed to inform me of their absence. After I reached out to reschedule, the second interview was delayed without communication again.
During the interview itself, the HR representative seemed uninterested and disengaged, which made the conversation feel more like a chore than a professional discussion. Despite my efforts to maintain a positive and productive tone, it felt one-sided.
To top it off, the follow-up communication was unclear and passive, leaving me uncertain about whether I would proceed to the next round.
This experience made me question the professionalism and organization of the hiring process. While I understand that everyone can have off days, a more respectful and engaged approach would reflect better on the company’s values.
