Something clearly went wrong in the interview process. None of my original interviewers seemed to be aware of my interview, and both were absent. Since their process required the interview to take place two days after the assignment, someone had to step in at the last minute. It felt rushed and disorganised.
The substitute interviewer seemed distracted and uninterested and, at times, came across as dismissive and unnecessarily harsh. I tried my best to be respectful and prepared, but the conversation left me feeling discouraged rather than evaluated fairly. Some of the feedback I received felt more like a personal judgment than constructive interview feedback.
Overall, the experience gave me the impression that the process was poorly coordinated and not handled with much care.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions such as why this company, why this role, and some clarification of my CV, followed by questions about the assignment. They also seemed to be looking for “magic words” that would demonstrate a strong business mindset.
Fue un business case pero facil, hecho online con uno de su equipo en Madrid, España al final lo hice bien y les convencio mi perfil pero no lo suficiente por lo visto
The interview process concluded with senior designers in the firm. The meeting was overall good, we talked about my relevant experience and a lot of follow up questions. Yet they ghosted me even though they mentioned HR would get back to me. I was appalled because I haven't thought that a successful firm like this would ghost their candidates, especially if they are interviewing for senior roles, but apparently it does happen. A very careless mistake for a firm this serious in my opinion.
