      Agile Coach Interview

      13 Mar 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Toronto, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at ecobee (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2018

      Interview

The process was long but, that is expected in the industry. It tells you that the company is thorough and vested in the process. It took about 5 weeks, from the day I submitted my application to getting an offer. 1. Phone screening. Straightforward, talked about salary expectations, few questions about career goals. 2. Onsite interviews. 2 back to back interviews with a VP, Senior leadership, Product Manager and Technical Director. 3. Case study. Had ~5 days to put together a proposal to solve a current problem the company is striving to address. 4. Phone offer Communication was good and clear. As expected there was some silence in between interviews, but from my experience that is common. Recruiters are hiring for more than your role, so they have their hands full. Overall, best interview process of the ones I have been in the past months. Expectations are discussed up-front and early in the process by the HR team, so there are no surprises at any point.
