Was contacted via email to do an "assignment." I had been looking for a job for several months, so I started to do the work. I had immediately thought it was a red flag to do an assignment when I had no human contact, not even a recruiter. They wanted a full project proposal, Asana Task Board, KPIs, and a resource outline for 3 different teams in 4 different time zones, as well as a velocity for the project team for 8 packaging projects! This felt like a scam with no human contact.

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at eJam (Newport Beach, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Interviewed with HR, moved onto personality test that said it was only 20 minutes but it was an hour, which is fine I guess.
After got an email saying I passed the personality test and they wanted to do an assessment where you helped with packaging design for the 8 products they listed. They wanted a project proposal, asana board, and a month's projections. I'd say that's fine for 1 or 2 products, but eight?!
They gave you 4 days to do that mini project with 8 products but I politely withdrew.
