I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ddpsc (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
An incredibly professional and welcoming experience. The interviewers were thoughtful, well-prepared, and asked insightful questions. I felt valued and appreciated throughout the process. Truly one of the best interviews I’ve had!
A time-consuming and lengthy application process, requiring the contact information of 3 professional references. Followed by a phone call 4 weeks after submitting the application, asking interview questions and informing me that only $15 an hour is budgeted for the role, not $15-$23 as is listed on the job description. I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. I gave my availability and after a week without communication, I followed up for confirmation. I was then told they hadn't finalized the applicants yet. After another week without communication, I rescinded my application.

Question 1
Why are you interested in the position? We have only budgeted $15 an hour for this role. Is that okay? (The job listing online had a range of $15-$23 an hour.)
Multiple webcam interview process. Spoke with a smaller group of people on the first call, and a larger group of people on the second. Everyone I spoke to was kind, very knowledgeable, and seemed passionate about their job and the work.
