I got invited for a 20 minute first meeting, which was expressed in advance that it would be for personal introductions and to explain the role. I was told about the timeline, the role, and what bunch is doing. Maybe a minute or two about ourselves, but it was told to me that that can wait for the next interviews (I was given a pretty streamlined timeline of expecting the case interview in a week, with the whole interview process being no longer than 2-3 weeks). After that, didn't hear anything back and didn't get a response from any of my mails asking for clarity. Two months after that, I got a response that my profile wasn't what they were looking for. This was a while ago (Aug 2023), so there's a chance things have changed since then and they've improved their practices. Not truly the worst experience, but as they stressed in the first meeting how transparent and fast their hiring process was, it was a bit of a surprise.
