First part of the application process involved the usual psychometric tests, quick quizzes, online HireVue stuff, nothing too out of the ordinary. The second part was more interesting, involving a trading simulation. Basically, you are put in a room with other applicants, and assigned to a laptop of your own to play a game. The game will have you decide whether to go long or short on a commodity (mine was oil) based on some news headlines that flash across the screen every minute or so. You can go long or short to varying degrees (+/-X number of lots up to a limit).
