I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at bioLytical Laboratories (Richmond, BC)
Interview
Just going to state the facts. I applied through their website and was invited to a screening call with the recruiter 1 week later. The call went well and I was invited to an in-person panel interview 1 week later at their HQ. They also requested that I provide 3 references upon confirming my attendance.
The panel interview consisted of the recruiter, hiring manager, and a third panel member. The third panel member was not engaged and uninterested, staring down at the table and barely making eye contact with me throughout the interview. The hiring manager and third panel member left the interview 15 mins early leaving me with only the recruiter to direct my questions towards. At the end of my interview, the recruiter walked me to the entrance and told me he would get back to me the following week after completing interviews with other candidates.
The next day I sent the panel an email to thank them for their time. No response. 1 week later I sent a follow-up email to check on the status of my application. No response. 3 weeks later I sent a final email to withdraw my application because I had accepted a job offer from another company. No response.
Then I checked GlassDoor and saw the rating and reviews of bioLytical - it corroborates my interview experience. The writing is on the wall.
My advice to the recruiter, who holds a Manager position, ghosting candidates that you've screened + panel interviewed + requested references from, is unprofessional and leaves a negative impression of you and the company as a whole.

Interview
The process was over 2 weeks with 3 interviews: HR, team and manager. The HR asked about my exprience and what I knew about the company. The team asked me more marketing related questions and manager was more generic and was just trying to get the feel of me.
