Zoom Communications interview questions

A recruiter reached out and lined up the interview with the hiring manager and 4 other people. I think they were a little unprofessional. I had an interview with an engineer Jim who had set his mind before he even talked to me. He spent 26min with me instead of 45min and he was not eager to learn anything about me. He just firmed up his bias. Now that is all OK in general. The problem I have is that they should have shown him my resume before they even started. I am pretty sure he blocked people previously, so if I would lead the recruiting team I would present Jim with the resume upfront. This would avoid the experience I had with Zoom recruiting. The other 4 interviews were just fine. The nail in the coffin was me not knowing what all the protocols for WebRTC are. I told him it uses SIP,RTP and the ICE framework and also said that there are APIs to call. AI told me these are not bad answers, I should have mentioned DTLS and RTCP. But in any case if you interview with someone who is biased then these small things can make or break the experience. Overall I think the Zoom recruitment team did a terrible job. They also only talked to me in the initial outreach. It was all very anonymous and half hearted.
