I applied through a consultancy and got a call late in the evening before the interview asking me to prepare in 5-6 topics. I did and attended. First was a written test consisting of Technical questions(networking and OS) which took place 2 weeks earlier. Then a F2F technical round testing basics of networking. Then an OPS round asking you about your family background. Then an OPS and technical round. The guy conducting this round said he was a manager, but his language was poor at best and seemed like he only knew about SNMP and nothing else. Then a HR and a Senior HR Round, wherein they just tell you that they do not reject people based on the CTC requests which they actually do.
So after completing all this I was informed by the consultancy that I went to the last round, so I was selected in all probability. For the next two months, no response from Zoho, the HR doesn't answer your calls or texts or emails. I had rejected 2 good job opportunities waiting on Zoho. Then I was informed by the consultancy that they rejected me on the basis that my parents were sick. I was informed that I had cleared the interview but rejected on this basis. I don't really understand their thought process here, as I was repeatedly asked whether I was okay in staying back and not going home on a daily basis. To wrap it up, don't know how it works there, as I find friends of mine feeling stagnant after working there for a while.
