Interview
Very rude HR. Job description was not fitting expectations for the role. Very agressive and unprepared new HR. The person couldnt even schedule a proper call appointment and just after several attemps could pick the phone. Instead of listening, was very obnoxious about pointing your deffects in 5 min of talk instead of letting you speak. And was discriminatory when told a non- German qualified lawyer could earn only way less of what a full German qualified lawyer could earn for the role. Being q full German qualified lawyer was not even at the job discription. Apparently this HR had something against foreigners as again told a lot of foreign lawyers had applied for this job. For an international company I was quite shocked how rude and biased an HR could be. She cut short call and told it didnt made any sense to her to continue the talk when I just wanted to ask why a foreigner lawyer needed to be pay less than a German one. For me it was a very racist reaction to do so and non- professional at all. At least HR should lead by example. Regardless if i was a good fit or not for the role she should had handled with neutrality and professionalism. It was the first time that happened to me and I hope never again.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zippo (Bradford, PA) in Jan 2017
