Question 1
How does my previous work experience correlate with my internship at the company?
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Zipie (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Mar 2019
Interview
The interview process went on for 3 days. I met with the entire team, was explained my role as if I already had the job, over and over again. I was offered the job, then told I would receive an offer once the owner reviewed and approved everything. Well, the offer was delayed week after week, then after my 3rd f/u phone call I was given a vague day of the week to come in. Well I stopped in since I never received formal confirmation of a time, only to be told the position was no longer available and was being pushed back 30 / 60 days.
For some reason I was blown off, with no explanation and considering I literally came to the office on 4 separate occasions a real explanation or f/u email would have been professional.
I couldn’t believe how this was handled, but the funny thing was I was hesitant to apply based on the reviews alone. But I thought I’d see for myself. Which I absolutely did!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were very vague. I think I was asked how I would handle rejection, the questions weren’t hard at all.
The interview was casual and it was a relaxed environment. The questions asked during the interview were situational questions and the staff was very friendly and welcoming both times I visited.
