I interviewed at Zanders Treasury, Risk, and Finance (Frankfurt am Main)
Interview
The HR has reached out to me via LinkedIn and later he arranged an interview with senior manager and I follow up for feedback and they arranged final round with Director and partner in FRA office. I did a make a good impression, we had discussed about possibilities of work, scope and he did mentioned that I made a positive impact and after 2 days I follow up where I had been mentioned that rejection reason was German language skills. I have been transparent from the beginning about my language skills but however the only reason was that. Where the company's language itself English. I was so shocked.
I applied online. I interviewed at Zanders Treasury, Risk, and Finance (Amsterdam) in Oct 2025
Interview
They invited me in person to go to their office. They didn't have my CV and just ask me some random questions about my background and the projects that I did and why I want to work in a consultancy firm. The interview was easy but I got rejection without any feedback.
I interviewed at Zanders Treasury, Risk, and Finance
Interview
Interviewed for a position of Credit Risk Manager in a newly established Zanders office. Spoke with a total of 10 Zanders partners/directors over six physical meetings/video calls (plus an additional initial call with the recruiter), including an on site visit to the Utrecht office.
While counterparts seemed very knowledgeable and pleasant interlocutors (almost all, one exception was a person who was very adversarial for no apparent reason), there was no progression - in all six meetings I was asked the same questions only by different people.
For my final round (seventh?) I was ghosted on the scheduled call which seemed very unprofessional but I did receive an apologetic phone feedback from the recruiter about a month later.
A mostly pleasant experience (with the exception of one interlocutor) but I think they could have reached a decision without so much of their and mine time wasted on repetitive meetings/calls, including an on site visit.
