I interviewed with Youth Guidance for the Director of Program Administration position and unfortunately had a negative candidate experience. Despite completing the interview process and following up for an update, I never received any communication or closure regarding my candidacy.
This lack of response felt unprofessional and left me with a poor impression of the organization. As a candidate, I invested time and effort in preparing for the opportunity, and I expected at least a courtesy update. Clear communication, even if it’s a rejection, goes a long way in creating a respectful and positive hiring process.
I hope Youth Guidance takes steps to improve their candidate experience and ensures timely follow-up with applicants moving forward.
