Chat with a recruiter seemed positive with good Q&A. via Zoom. We discussed salary requirements which also seemed acceptable. The recruiter detailed his process and next steps along with mentioning he would present my profile and let me know in the next two days if I were to move forward with the competency testing and chat with CEO. He additionally asked me to contact him if he hadn't reached back out as he mentioned ' I (meaning me) deserved to know what is happening'. When he failed to reach back out, I sent him an email as requested. And then... nothing. No reply. A week later, I received a canned rejection email.
