      Front-End Web Developer Interview

      7 Jul 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Scottsdale, AZ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yodle (Scottsdale, AZ) in May 2016

      Interview

I had a very good interview experience. During my initial call, the recruiter showed consideration for the fact that I had at least one other prospect I was interviewing with at the same time, and made a serious effort to expedite my subsequent interviews, fitting most of them into two weeks. The technical interview went well, with the usual front-end web developer questions as well as some personal/fun questions. There was ample opportunity to ask my own questions, and the interviewer explained in depth about the position's technical aspects (framework used, etc). All in all, very pleasant, and the recruiter kept in frequent contact with me throughout the process and even after! The only downside was that the background check, which was started after I accepted the offer, ate a few days out of the time I had planned out before my starting date.
