I applied online. I interviewed at Yepoda (Berlin)
Interview
Stage 1 screening with in-house PR manager. Stage 2, case study which we had to present to the team. After getting through to the second round and working on the case study, I was told that someone that had been int he interview process for longer had been hired.
DO NOT apply or start a process with this company — they only collect Case Studies for their own benefit.
I went through an interview process for a Marketing role. The salary was completely out of line with the position (significantly below market). They asked me to complete a very lengthy case study, which I put a huge amount of work into and then had to present to the team. They led me to believe I was moving forward to the final interview stage, but right before that interview, they informed me that the position had "suddenly" been frozen and that they were very sorry, but would reach out if it reopened.
Some time later, I saw they reposted the role on LinkedIn — I assume to collect more case studies and FREE work from hopeful candidates.
I do not recommend starting any process with this company, which exploits people's genuine desire to work.
P.S. : To make matters worse, I later discovered that the person who would have been my manager shared excerpts from my case study on her socials, presenting it as her own work.
Interview was fine and casual but then the tke home task was quite difficult to do in 4 hrs and complete well. Had the first interview with the hiring manager already
