Had a bizarre 1st round interview experience with with HR on 19th July at 13:45. She was late to the call to start with, and then went through some questions, all of which i answered comfortably. When i was given the chance to ask a few questions, she suddenly hung up. Thinking we might have been accidentally disconnected, I called her back, She picked up the phone and shouted "HELLO?" into the receiver a few times before hanging up. Neither did she didn't respond to an email I sent after. I appreciate there might be good reasons for not proceeding with my application (probably salary expectations), but unprofessional behaviour like this needs to be called out.
