Instead? LeetCode trivia. The Software Manager fixated on algorithm puzzles like it's 2015. Here's the kicker: I proposed a more efficient solution to one of his questions—a modern approach that's actually used in production environments. **He completely dismissed it and forced me to solve it his "conventional" way.** Translation: "Do it my way or you're wrong," regardless of whether your solution is objectively better. **Red flags everywhere:** → They've been failing to hire software engineers for YEARS. Now I understand why. → Their Glassdoor rating speaks volumes—check it before applying. → They're not looking for engineers who can think critically or improve systems. → They want code monkeys who memorize algorithm patterns and don't question authority. **The bottom line:** If you're an engineer who builds real products, solves actual business problems, and thinks independently—**run.** This company doesn't value builders.
