Interview
I sent the application online and the recruiter sent me an email offering time and date. Very flexible. The call was friendly and easy. I am preparing for the second interview
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
A recruiter contacted me three months ago and instead of setting up a time to speak with me, he e-mailed a set of questions that recruiters usually ask during that initial first call (weird). Once I replied to that e-mail, the next day, the recruiter asked me for availability for a VC with the hiring manager. The questions were straightforward and the interviewer was cool but after that VC, I didn't receive feedback for TWO MONTHS (so unprofessional!). Then, they e-mailed me (no apology - after forgetting that I was even interviewing at Twitter) asking me to complete a writing assignment and to submit it within 48 hours. After completing the writing assignment, they ghosted me AGAIN for another month. By the end of the process, I was completely over it and just disengaged. They invited me on-site but I politely rejected the invitation. I don't want to be a part of an organization that can't get it together. If this is how their hiring practices are, I would hate to see the mess that is this organization.
