Only made it past the screen and the first phone interview with a hiring manager. Unfortunately, and to my surprise, she was kind of uneducated on basic functions or universally accepted verbiage of tech recruiting (she openly showed frustration and needed me to breakdown what I meant by “pipeline” which is really alarming).
On the one hand it’s always good to avoid situations where you end up working for someone who doesn’t understand your job, but on the other it’s disappointing this is a person acting as the gate keeper to a company you’ve admired in the past.
