Applied online. Invited to "meet and greet". Once there you're given a number and they take you into another room 10 at a time. My number was in the 70's so what I noticed from the first 6 groups was that about two from each group came out of the room and left. When it was my group turn we were ushered in. About 8-10 interviewers were at separate tables. We each sat down with a separate interviewer. The girl interviewing myself seemed bothered by the whole process and asked me to tell her about my experience, none of the "standard" interview questions. I'm sorry that I wasted my time learning about this company, I didn't even get to share that with her. It took less than 60 seconds and I was on my way out the door with the "we'll be making calls next week" blah. No where in sight were all the people who had not left.
As others have said, seems like they are looking for an exact certain something, if you don't have it you don't even get a chance to prove yourself. It's only been a few days, haven't heard from them, and I really don't expect to.
The initial interview was a smaller group setting that is just a presentation of yourself, I did pretty well and dressed the part. I received a call after two hours to attend an interview a few days later. There were way more people but same thing. A few of us were pulled to the side for up-close interviews and I was offered a position on the spot.
it was long as not expected, however, it went smoothly, and be able to go through another level and got to talk to the director of the area and talk to them about such matters
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wynn Resorts (New York, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
When you walk into the hiring center you will check in at the front desk. Make sure to arrive more than 15 minutes ahead of time, because it is a group interview and a lot of people will be checking in. The interviewer called us all into a room promptly at the start time and about 60 people were lead into a room.
We all sat down in chairs in a huge circle. One at a time the interviewers called our names and we had to stand up and tell everyone about ourselves and answer a random question. Try to make your answer creative and show your personality. Be friendly and well spoken. Try not to use slang. It's okay to be nervous!
