Interview
The interview was with a panel of several people, each asking questions. One hour exactly. It was very interactive, trying to get to know you quickly. Overall, a pleasant experience.
The interview process has three stages: CV screening for initial acceptance, a first interview to assess general fit and skills, and a final, more technical interview to evaluate in-depth expertise and suitability for the role.
Straight-forward, efficient, focus on ability to speak multiple languages. Didn’t get to meet people from different teams that you would be working with, but overall a good experience and fairly standard set of questions.

It was direct hiring, which is a pretty common practice. I have been working for other international organizations before, like de IADB, so one thing led to another. In professional terms, it felt like a natural progression.
