I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workweek Media in Feb 2026
Interview
I met with the head of HR, the hiring manger and one of the co-founders. I also completed a small assignment. Everyone seemed really nice and the role sounded great. Then they ghosted me and didn't respond when I followed up. How hard is it to send an email telling someone they didn't get the role after they gave you hours of their time? It's unfortunate because I obviously won't be applying to any other roles at the company even though it sounded great.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Workweek Media (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Relatively straight forward. Met with recruiter, typical recruiter screen then met with hiring manager. Everything moved smoothly, good communication from recruiter at all times. After interviewing with hiring manager, I felt they wanted someone with traditional events experience whereas I built and sold a conference.

Interview
Will ghost you! Be wary of sending a follow up email because the recruiters and the higher ups will not reply. I thought my interview went well and they told me they would like to talk to me again in a couple of days and ended up ghosting me.
