I was contacted via phone and an interview was set. Confidentiality is vital, so no identifying information as to the site was provided over the phone.
I interviewed twice. Once wither the HR Director and the second time with 3 members of the clinical team. All asked probing, detailed questions that would reveal my understanding of IPV, the Sanctuary Model and whether my values would mesh with the agency and mission. I was deeply impressed and the interviewers commented numerous times that they very much liked my responses.
Both interviews lasted over an hour each. I felt confident that I would get a job offer.
I never heard from them again.
Attempted contact to no avail.
I don’t expect to get an offer every time, but as they interviewed me twice, I felt the very least courtesy they could have shown me was an email form letter stating they were not moving forward with my application.
This agency has been noted as “very responsive”, but that was not my experience at all.
The hiring process is unfortunately not at all reflective of the agency’s commitment to the Sanctuary Model.
