There were multiple phone calls before the initial interview, 2 in-person interviews, one of which required a plan to be created and presented to the board of directors, and a few follow-ups after. The process went on over a month and a half (roughly). The job was offered verbally, then rescinded due to budget issues. I speculate that they may have implemented some of the ideas from the presentation without hiring on the staff to implement. Overall I was pretty disappointed because it seemed like a perfect fit and I spent a lot of time invested in the value I could bring to the organization and the strategy/presentation and the position was ultimately not filled.
