I interviewed for a Software Quality Assurance Manager position and had one screening round after two weeks of follow-up. The conversation lasted about 20-25 minutes and focused on my views around GenAI integration, automation strategy, and transforming legacy frameworks. I felt the discussion went well and aligned with my experience in building scalable QA platforms and leading automation-led transformations.
Unfortunately, despite multiple follow-ups over three weeks, I haven’t received any further communication or closure. While I understand hiring timelines can vary, a simple update—whether positive or not—goes a long way in respecting candidates’ time and effort.
Advice to the company:
Clearer communication and timely feedback would greatly improve the candidate experience. Even a polite “not moving forward” helps professionals plan their next steps.
