The process started with an introductory call with the recruiter and then a technical phone screen.
The on-site interview started by giving a scientific presentation followed by a group technical interview and then meeting individual with VPs, directors, and scientists at various levels of experience that included lunch and a tour of the laboratories. The technical interview was with a group of technical managers and started with basic scientific and technical questions. The questions rapidly advanced to more advanced knowledge and open-ended questions about approaches to solve drug development challenges. Everyone was friendly and interested in discussing my scientific background. The scientific and technical discussions were interesting and enjoyable. There were some basic behavioral questions.
The entire process took a little over 1 week and ended with a verbal offer the same day as my on-site interview.
