Interview
The hiring process was super simply. I applied through LinkedIn, then got an email from a recruiter to organise a phone interview. The phone interview was for around 15 minutes and we discussed my experience and understanding of both logistics and software. We discussed my desired roll and aspirations. It ended with the recruiter sending through a personality and mental aptitude test. I ended up being considered for a product role so I didn't complete the developer test.
I was then contacted regarding a face to face interview, this was a really good interview where I met one of the product managers I would be working with. After that interview the process slowesd because of holidays and a few other hold ups. I then went back in to meet with the Dev lead and we discussed their projects and issues they faced and how they could be addressed.
After the interview the recruiter said both interviews went really well and apologised for the length of the process (it only lasted a total of three weeks). The next day I got a call saying they were offering me a position and the next available start date.
