The interview process with Wimsatt was not the best experience. You have to apply online and complete a paper application on-site, which is outdated and time consuming. I applied for an HR Generalist role, but that title and description changed to HR Business Partner because they weren’t really clear on what they were looking for. The first interview was simple, went through my resume and regular interview questions. The second interview they called a “transparent interview,” but it was really two members of the senior leadership team picking through every piece of my resume and telling me why I wasn’t good enough for the company. This was fine with me, as I didn’t really see a culture fit for myself, but it was completely unprofessional. They then didn’t communicate with me that they decided to move forward with another candidate. I just saw this position posted online again (3rd time in 2 years). Think twice before applying with this company.
Other notes: medical benefits aren’t as good as they make them sound. Hours are 7 am to 5 pm. They had no plans in looking into remote work when I was interviewing (summer 2019). They did not have a stance on diversity and inclusion when I interviewed.
